LEADER NEWS: THORNBURY SOCCER STAR TO MAKE PARAROOS DEBUT

Thornbury Athletic FC player and Northcote Leader Senior Sports Star nominee, Christian Tsangas continues to make headlines with the Leader Newspaper writing an article about representing Australia in his first senior international tournament for the Pararoo squad.

THERE  isn’t much Christian Tsangas lets stand between himself and his goals. The 19-year-old Thornbury soccer player is this week representing Australia at the International Federation for Cerebral Palsy Football (IFCPF) World Championships qualification tournament in ­Denmark.

The goalkeeper, who also stars in the “able-bodied” local competition for Thornbury Athletic FC, said he hoped to learn a lot from his first senior tournament with the ‘Pararoos’.
